Observer,NoobFeed,

5. Observer

From the minds behind Layers of Fear Observer dumps players into a sinister cyberpunk universe. Taking place in 2084 after a digital plague known as the nanophage, that killed thousands and resulted in war and rampant drug use, you take control of an Observer. These new type of police officers can hack into the minds of people to learn their secrets. After being contacted by protagonist's Daniel Lazarski's estranged son you see that his apartment has been broken into and a body found.

The building, which houses drug and hologram addicts, is put into lockdown as you hack various minds to locate what happened to your son. Leading to 1 of multiple endings. Like past work from Bloober Team Observer relies heavily on psychological horror and creating an unnerving atmosphere. With each section leading you deeper into areas you don't want to go into.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance,NoobFeed,Konami,

4. Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance

If you prefer action than look no further than Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. Taking place after the events of Metal Gear Solid IV: Guns of the Patriots players take control of Raiden. But unlike his debut in Metal Gear Solid II: Sons of Liberty here you get to control the deadly warrior in his cyber ninja form.

Complete with incredible speed, strength, and a deadly sword you'll slice your way through hordes of enemies and fight incredible bosses. All while some of PlatinumGames best soundtracks play in the background. The story shares the incredible quality of the action. Providing deep characters that each have their own desires and reasonings behind their actions. The story is full of twists and turns, leading to an epic battle that still puts many modern action games to shame.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is considered one of the best action-adventure games of the last generation and in the Metal Gear franchise.

The Surge,NoobFeed,Deck13,

3. The Surge

If you're still hungry for more cyberpunk-like violence after Metal Gear Rising than The Surge is your game. This title has you traveling through a facility owned by a corporate juggernaut called CERO after the protagonist's botched surgery to get new legs.

Named Warren, you wake up in a pile of garbage and attempt to survive the hordes of former CERO staff who've lost their sanity. and killing anyone on sight. The brutal combat as you dismembering parts of your enemies as you attempt to endure this difficult adventure. Best of all, you can practice slicing enemy limbs before The Surge 2 releases this year.

Deus Ex Mankind Divided,NoobFeed,

2. Deus Ex Mankind Divided

Despite the poor promotional campaign and negative reception behind the microtransactions Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is an amazing game. Improving on many of the concepts of Human Revolution players instantly recognized the game's better cover system, FPS combat, and diverse selection of upgrades.

The story had the same diverse branching paths that the previous game was praised for and allowed players to change protagonist Adam Jensen into whatever they wished. The only problem was the game's infamous ending. Regardless, Mankind Divided was a terrific adventure that allowed players to be peaceful, violent, kind, or bitter. With each decision leading to various consequences in both the main story and optional tasks.

VA-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action,NoobFeed,

1. VA-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action

VA-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action doesn't have the action of Metal Gear Rising or the layer branching paths of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. But it does have a great selection of characters and a deep rich narrative with oridinary characters within a cyberpunk world. You'll mix drinks, listen to people tell you about their life, and attempt to make enough money to keep your bills paid.

Where VA-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action shines is in the quality of its writing. Each of the characters showcases the world without you ever stepping into it. Yes, it's a giant tease when you learn of massive explosions, an exciting concert, or sentient robots roaming the streets as you mix another drink for a cheating reporter but that's okay. Eventually, everything bends together as you build relationships, even with people you cannot stand, and attempt to keep the protagonist Jill from getting distracted.
