Life is Strange 2: Episode 2 Rules recently released and had some technical problems but maintained the same emotional tension the series is known for. You can bet that Dontnod will have more difficult choices up ahead and we are going to predict them here. Here are our predictions for Life is Strange 2: Episode 3.
Broke Farmers
At the end of Life is Strange 2: Episode 2 both Sean and Daniel are forced to flee from the police. Regardless of which ending you get one thing is certain, Daniel and Sean hop onto a train and they're broke.
Remember, back at the marketplace Sean was shopping for a present for Daniel and he carries a very specific amount of money, about $10. Everything, with the exception of the Christmas Wreaths, is less than $10 but you cannot leave without getting a present. You can steal one from the donation box or purchase one. Either way, Sean and Daniel are broke and when he flees he's without any money and it's unlikely that his grandparents snuck any funds into their jackets or bags.
We get a glimpse at episode 3, showing that Daniel and Sean are what appears to be a cannabis farm and a sign that says "EXPERIENCED AND HONEST LOOKING FOR WORK". It's likely that the 2 will have to take on undocumented work for funds.
Increased Tension Between Daniel and Sean
It's clear that the tension between the brothers is high. Daniel is unnerved about his powers, and depending on your ending he could see them as a curse. In addition, Daniel is adamant in convincing Sean in locating their mother. This could lead to a giant argument between the brothers as Daniel wants to see Karen while Sean, who has memories and hasn't forgiven her, doesn't want anything to do with her.
In addition, we saw in episode 2 that Sean may be a little jealous of Daniel. We see him attempting to lift a rock, similar to Daniel, but is unable to do so and gives up in frustration. Dontnod isn't known for placing subtleties like that without purpose.
Return of Cassidy
During the events of episode 2, we get to meet Cassidy, a talented singer, and guitarist. As a vagabond she's heading to California for what she said is an actual job. It's clear that the girl is looking for something stable and we even hear her voice as she directs Sean and Daniel. It's likely she is now working at the cannabis farm and provided the opportunity to both Sean and Daniel.
