You will take on the role of the Boss in the city of Santo Ileso, working with your crew to battle enemy factions and build your criminal empire.
Soul Hackers 2:
August 26th, 2022: This forthcoming JRPG is the sequel to Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers, which came out clear back in 1997 on Sega Saturn! The game will feature a striking neon look and the same Press Turn system that is in Shin Megami Tensei.
Lord of the Rings:
Gollum: September 1st, 2022: The developer has described this upcoming game as a “stealth-action-adventure with an intriguing dual-personality mechanic, gigantic levels, and a densely wrought aesthetic inspired by Tolkien's own drawings.” It will be especially interesting to find out what “dual-personality mechanics” are like.
The Last of Us Part 1:
September 2nd, 2022: This PlayStation exclusive is a fully-revamped version of the original The Last of Us. The graphics have received a massive overhaul along with combat. You will also see improvements to facial animations. Options for accessibility have increased as well.
Overwatch 2:
October 4th, 2022: Early access for Overwatch 2 opens up on the 4th. This free-to-play game from Blizzard will include brand new heroes as well as Story Missions.
Marvel’s Midnight Suns:
October 7th, 2022: One big upcoming game on multiple platforms is this one from Marvel, which sees you playing the customizable character The Hunter as you lead a team of 12 heroes to fight Lillith, Mother of Demons.
A Plague Tale: Requiem:
October 18th, 2022: This game is the sequel to A Plague Tale: Innocence, returning us to the world of Hugo and Amicia. While many of the basic mechanics look to be similar to the first game, there are some exciting new combat features, plus beautiful new environments and the promise of a continuation to the epic story.
Gotham Knights:
October 25th, 2022: This RPG will take you to what the developers refer to as the “most dynamic interactive Gotham City yet.” Robin, Batgirl, Red Hood and Nightwing must band together to protect the open world city from threats like the Court of Owls and Mr. Freeze with Batman dead.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2:
October 28th, 2022: It is finally time for the next installment in the 2019 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare reboot. Gamers can find out what happens next to Captain Price, and can also look forward to improvements to AI, water physics, vehicles, and more.
God of War Ragnarok:
November 9th, 2022: Another major release that is coming out soon is the next God of War game. We can look forward to battling through harsh environments with Kratos and Atreus side by side. Along the way, they will encounter monsters and gods from Norse mythology, each imposing their own challenges.
