Guacamelee’s first piece of DLC, a costume pack, was suppose to launch today along with a patch that enabled players to swap characters at checkpoints. However due to a issue caused by the patch Drinkbox Studios has pulled it downed until it’s fixed.
The patch becomes unstable when gaining the “Pollo Power†and making it impossible for players to proceed since they cannot leave the chicken mode. The patch went live for PlayStation Plus members. To fix this PS3 players can delete Guacamelee from their accounts and re-download it, while Vita users can save it to the cloud, delete it, and re-download the title.
Drinkbox stated that “We hope to release a fix for the patch (as well as the downloadable content) as soon as possible. Really sorry about this!â€.
