Sadly The Steam Winter Sale has come to an end. Only recently becoming part of the Steam Community, this was my first experience with the sale. I may have gone a little out of control. It seems I was constantly checking my computer and phone for the daily deals and impulsively buying every game I had any inkling of interest in.
Thank God I had brains enough to make the majority of my purchases gift transactions as I've only begun to touch the stockpile. I figured if I don't play them I always have a good excuse for a trade or giveaway, but selfishly I want to play them all! Here they are, along with how much money I foolishly threw away.

That makes for a total of $166.52. Geeze, you'd think I was made of money, but think of all the savings! It's kind of like using a coupon for groceries you don't really need. Just to watch them expire and rot.
Fortunately for me I WILL play every single game. Ha, I'll just cancel all other prior arrangements. Thus far I've only played three of the twenty-something games I purchased. Lucius, Home, and Resonance; only completing one, Home (which is not a difficult task).
Were you as impulsive as me? How much did you spend during The Steam Winter Sale?
Awesome stuff. I've actually only bought 1 game from Steam itself, I believe, but I did spend the holiday bleeding my finances with sales from other sites.
What game, you ask? The one amazing sale you passed up: FTL - Faster Than Light. And I've been crushing way too much time on it as well.
Also, you should totally review Primal Carnage. That way, I won't feel so bad for letting that one slip, as well as Lucius.
