Hi everyone, I've brought information about the new PS4. The new console will have the codename "Orbis". It will not be backwards compatible with PlayStation and would include other anti second-hand games.
This machine would have a AMD CPU and a GPU AMD x64 Southern Islands, you can play games at a resolution of 4096x2160 and display 1080p 3D games (PlayStation 3can only do so with guarantees at a resolution of 720p).
The console, which does not have to end up being called Orbis, would not be backwards compatible with previous PlayStation and following a model and rumored for the new console from Microsoft, would not play games at second hand.
In the latter case, it appears that the game would be tied to user accounts on PlayStation Network, and can be downloaded from the Internet while having the game in physical format. However, if a user purchases a disc used, should pay to unlock content.
Finally, the anonymous source said that Sony has distributed updated versions of the development kits this new console some developers, but is expected later this year to distribute complete versions of these tools.
The PS4 will be released in the end of 2013.
@Dramus Like it or not, this is the world you are bound to live in. Unless you quit playing. I think that this generation gamers will at least be able to play used games, but generation next will know this as a history.
@Amaya i still dont want to live on this world. come on Amaya, we are going to another planet.
@Dramus hehe sure thing. Let's go to planet Thessia. I love the Asarians.
You know, i truly do not want to live in world where used games cannot be bought as they used to. what the heck is this world coming to anyways. whats with all the damned greed. I dont buy used games much, but first MS and now Sony with this...truly makes one sad for the going ons.
