Hi, folks. Yes, as much as it might be surprising for you, I haven't disappeared, just been swamped with lots of things.

First things first, my education. I managed to pass with a 2.1 GPA this year; I failed math horribly with a D+ (the final sucked, I knew almost nothing on there save for the basics), but fantastically managed to pass my second CS class with a B+. I'm happy about that. I'm going to have to retake the math class, but I'm just overjoyed that I managed to survive my first year of college.

On top of that, I'm transferring to off-campus apartments for living. I'm going with three of my friends: two guys and one girl. We're all pretty mellow guys, though, so I don't think there's going to be any problem with that. And the girl has offered to teach me how to cook Panda Express foods; my guy friends are also total geek/nerd types, into Pokemon, gaming, anime, and all that. Going to be great. Best of all, it's not in the dorms anymore so I'll hopefully be able to get in some decent sleep these days. The campus bus runs on a circuit and one of the stops is directly in front of my apartments, so I won't have problem with transportation.

Second off, I got a shiny new widescreen monitor that runs at a whopping 1920x1080 resolution. Makes all the games look nice and watching HD videos even nicer.

Third, Steam sales, who doesn't love them? I've actually gotten more leeway on using the credit card once I got back home from college, so I spent some here and there, mostly picking up deals during the sale, among which are Frozen Synapse and Magicka. Also had Brink for some time now; it's decent but you can tell where they went wrong with the game. My new Steam name is QWOP-GIRP, Master of Derp; look me up if you haven't added me yet. :D

Fourth, anime! My season 1 DVDs of both Darker than Black and Strike Witches came in today. Really happy; Amazon was having a half-off sale on them so I decided to take the plunge and pick them up. Haven't regretted it yet (though if my parents find the Strike Witches one, I'll have some explaining to do). On top of that, been watching the newly released ones this season, among which are: The Idolmaster, Kamisama no Memechou, Hanasaku Iroha, and Mayo Chiki.

In other things, late condolences to Norway and best of luck to the UK. The world's really been seeming like it's going to hell in a handbasket lately.

Other things that have happened:

-I found reddit

-I'll be trying to get some reviews up soon

-I learned that I'm not as quiet as I was in the past

-This is most likely the last quiet summer I'll ever have

  • First time ever I'm coming to know that you too like anime. Enjoy your new monitor and staying with those friends. Looking forward to your reviews mate.  And tell us what changes have you found in you recently ;]

Yep, I like anime, though most of the time, it's not the first thing I mention to people. Lots of anime-liking people I know seem to only want to talk about it all the time, which is very annoying. I'm working on few reviews, mostly for Splinter Cell: Conviction and Brink (maybe).

Also, on the topic of changes, I doubt that I've changed much, actually. :P

  • lol people don't change easily, so sure didn't you too. But people do grow mature and gain better understanding of life, which I'm sure you did too.
