Released on the 9th of October 2007, Team Fortress 2 has had a good run. It ate away over 1000 hours of my life because of it's succesful gameplay recipe which offered lots of thrills and fun moments you're unlikely to encounter in other games. Valve have constantly released updates that featured new game modes, maps, class items and even class hats and accessories, updates which kept TF2's freshness over the years. Players can now trade items between each other and Valve have also set up a store where people can support map or item creators through purchasing the items they designed with real cash (the store also organised a fund-raising action for Japan when the earthquake disaster struck). As if the dedication the developers have showed to the game and it's community wasn't enough, they have officially made Team Fortress 2 free for MAC and PC users. So, if you haven't tried it yet for one reason or another, you can now get it, alongside all the updates and items for free. The guys over at Valve deserve all the respect they can get.
@caityful: Indeed! Are you playing it, by any chance?
@sleven: But ... but ... but ... it's FREE! D:
@bruno: ;O Did you happen to see the Meet the Medic trailer, since you're obviously informed?
@Woozie - Whenever I get the inclination, I'll have a bit of a play on TF2. Although, I'm not very good. :P
@caityful: TF2's not about the kills or the score. It's about the fun. And the HATS!
@Woozie - That is true! I forgot that I think I've unlocked my first real hat... Maybe we will have to play then :D
Wow! That's great! Biggest news I've heard in a while. Thanks for the info, mate!
@caityful: Hehe.
@Daktary: You're welcome! ;O Let me know if you decide on playing.
@Woozie : Sure, Woozie. I'm game. I've played a bit yesturday to get the general feeling and I'm ok with it. If you ever see me online, nick's (123)Daktary.
