  lol. i knew it! i knew you'd agree that you are a rant person. but hei! blog isn't always a selfish act. it's just you have more places to pour your ideas into words. it's not that you always have to have conversation on forum. blog can be the best way to put up a complete thought and get people share their idea on it.
  in forum you start a topic and people join the discussion and the discussion mostly diverse into another discussion. it never happens to blog. if you want to have some on topic discussion; whether you constantly remind people to stay on topic or you simply make a blog and see if anyone's interested to discuss or they think about the topic you're blogged or what not.
