Quick survey here. I'm looking into starting to live stream new release games on a weekly basis. I ran a test a few hours ago and things seem to be working fine. I have some equipment I'll be getting in hopefully by friday and I'll be running some more tests over the weekend (with commentary! :D ). As long as everything works well I hope to be streaming Marvel vs. Capcom 3 most of the day Tuesday and then we'll see where to go from there as far as who wants what games to be streamed.
As you all know, mostly because I like to keep reviews pretty up to date on my own site, I get most new releases for PS3/PSN/PSP. Once I track down the PSP cable I need I'll be able to stream anything from those systems. So basically I want to know what you all here at noobfeed think. For the most part the streams would probably take place on the weekend or on Tuesday when the new games come out over here. For tuesday it'd be about an all day thing so hopefully even though some of you might have vastly different time zones from me you'll be able to catch some of it. All shows will be archived as well on justin.tv.
For the record this isn't some "here let me advertise blablabla..." thing. We already have a community game night that I'm unfortunately usually not able to take part in but seeing as I do get access to a lot of games I figure something like this might help some of you make a decision of whether or not you want to purchase a certain game. I'd be more than willing to take suggestions from any of you. So if there's a game coming out soon or just came out that you'd like to see more of before buying just ask me if I can stream it and I'll be more than happy to! As long as everything goes to plan I hope to maybe get some early copies of maybe some PSN games and see if I can't stream a little bit of those games as well. ;)
So serioulsy let me know what you all think. Any of you'd be interested in some live streaming awesomeness? Just as well with something like Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and other multiplayer games if you wanna challenge me to a match during the stream we can work something out as well. ;)
** At the time being I'll only be able to stream in SD but seeing as watching Justin.tv and other streaming sites like that usually aren't great for streaming HD I don' think that'd be much of an issue. :P
