Well after wrapping up Borderlands after checking out some of the free DLC after completing the main portion of the game I decided to hop into Chronicles of Riddick: Assualt on Dark Athena in my quest to get rid of some of the older PS3 titles I've had sitting around that I keep putting aside for other, newer games. It's been a brutal experience and I have enjoyed several hours with it already. I'm still on the first half of the game escaping from Butcher's Bay and for a PS2 remake into HD for the PS3 it looks very solid. Not the best looking game, and you can definitely tell that it's been redone but still good looking just the same. I hope to finish the game sometime during this week and start Killzone 2 after this. Although this game is turning out to offer a lot more than I expected and I'm certainly not rushing the experience. It's a cheap buy so if you haven't tried the game then I'd definitely suggest it, especially if you like a healthy dose of violence, brutality and dark humor. I came across this title on suggestion of FetusZero and like usual he seems to know just the games to pick for me. On top of the titles I have here at the house I also plan on picking up several more over the upcoming few months while pushing along completing other games in a timely manner to get rid of the backlog I've been focusing most of my free time on.
Recently I picked up Mass Effect 2 for the PS3 and preordered Homefront and Dues Ex: Human Revolution which both come out on March 8th. Some great games coming out later in the year as well (Hopefully if they don't get pushed back) such as Killzone 3, inFAMOUS 2 and a 3rd Assassin's Creed (Hopefully) that I want a clean slate for when they decide to come out, not to mention probably at least a dozen other titles I plan to play throughout the year. Also if anyone has any suggestions I'm normally open to most things so feel free to give them. I also plan on starting up a few new videos sometime in the near future but will probably hold off on those for a while since I'm still playing older games that wouldn't hold high interest enough to warrant spending that much time video editing on. But when I get to Black Ops, Fallout New Vegas and Dead Space 2 after finishing Riddick, Killzone 2 and MW2 then I plan to make a few videos to give people something other than my boring blogs to read. :P I hope all is well with everyone, I have off work today and will be around so feel free to leave me some messages in here to reply to and I'll be checking back in periodically. :)
