Well for the 3rd time in a row I have picked up the latest Fable game on release day, I was one of the people who decided very early on to pre-order the collectors edition... You know the one that comes will all that cheap collectors crap that you never take out of the box and the 'exclusive download' stuff that is essentially useless and not really much of an incentivefor spending extra money on a game. Well yeah I got that again, it wasnt too bad of a collectors edition actuallly, its stull useless crap but atleast it appears to be good quality....useless crap..lol
Okay jokes aside I start writing this bable to give you guys a bit of an idea about what this game is actually like. From the moment you turn the game two things are blatantly obvious, firstly its so much prettier, they really have spent a lot of time on the details in this world the seconed is that its still a fable game.
Okay so before you start trying to compare it to the likes of Dragon Age, Elder Scrolls or some other roleplaying game lets take a moment to look at something. The fable series is not Dragon Age, its not designed to be the most indepth roleplaying game ever imagined, if anything its like a half way mark, its a fun little story, with enough depth and in game flexibility to get you hooked, Its the type of game that allows you to create your own character and exist in a world that does NOT incolve you sacrificing over 30 hours to the gamings gods before starting to get somewhere.
Now that we have admitted the obvious I'll get to the actual point... Which was..? Oh yes the game... There was a game? Well yeah actually Fable 3 is quite fun, I mean its simple but I'm about 12 hours of gameplay in so far and Im still finding it a lot of fun. Fable 3 is what Fable 2 should have been which ironically was how I felt about number 2 compared to the original? Does it live to to the hype? Well thats a little hard to say I dont think its ever going to live up hype when people are expecting it to beat the pants off every RPG ever invented but Fable 3 is easilly the best Fable Game released so far. If you've always enjoyed the Fable games then this will be a welcome addition to your games, if you have never liked them well maybe head back towards something more indepth. If you've never touched one, then its time to try it out but I would start by renting it first.

What I dont like?
- The level up system, this "road to rule" level up system is just stupid.
- You cant actually pause the game, you simply press start and end up[ in your sanctuary
- You cannot select which 'action' to make to a person when talking to them
I really do want to play this game, but it will have to wait till the price drops.
