I recently shelled out for a 12-month Xbox Live Gold card, so I won't have to worry about renewing until next fall. I've also discovered how fun NHL 10's Be A Pro mode is. It's a great game mode, toiling in the minor leagues and hoping for a shot with the big team. Really exciting.
In other sports news, Toronto FC has one game remaining on its regular season schedule. It holds the final playoff spot and will need to win at New York this coming weekend to qualify for the playoffs. It would be TFC's first playoff appearance in its short, three-year history.

Tanya: GM does mean General Manager, yes. They make the trades and signings, etc. There are two different game modes, one for being the player and one for being the GM and playing as the entire team.
