As hard as this is going to be to believe, Gran Turismo 5 has been dated for November 2 of this year in North America and Latin America, with Japan and Europe expected to release it two days later. No really, we’re not winding you up.
Here at NoobFeed we’re going to stick our necks on the line and say we actually believe them this time around, which is probably a pretty stupid thing to do. The game has been hit with delay after delay, time and time again, with no real explanation or apology. We’re big fans of perfection, but when you’ve been waiting for a game since E3 2006 and all that’s greeted you is disappointment then it really can test a gamers’ resolve.
The game will feature around 1000 cars, 70 track variations, online gameplay, 3D gameplay and PlayStation Move compatibility. *drools*
That’s not all, for the first time ever the Gran Turismo series has bagged the licenses for the World Rally Championship, NASCAR and Super GT. It will also be the first time fans will see noticeable damage to their vehicle: external, mechanical, and even interior in some cases – pretty impressive.
Check out the E3 trailer here.
