With E3 just about to kick off, Bethesda has given its latest romp in post-nuclear America a solid release date.
North American vault-dwellers get Fallout: New Vegas on Oct. 19, while Europe gets it a few days later on Oct. 22.
Chronologically, New Vegas takes place three years after the events of Fallout 3 as the player, in the role of a courier, finds themselves the target of an assassination attempt. Players will get to explore the city of New Vegas, just as much a gambling town as present-day Las Vegas.
In addition to the standard retail copy, there is also a special edition available, complete with a graphic novel, making-of DVD and a special deck of playing cards, among other goodies. The special edition retails for US$79.99.

I played the first game and the experience wasn't that bad, I did enjoyed the game at some point until the end of the story. But probably I won't repeat the experience.
