Rockstar finally broke the silence about a sequel to the acclaimed Bully. According to officials, the company decided to create a new Max Payne game instead of Bully, due to the "edge of manpower."However, for fans of the series, the company also let slip that they should start developing Bully 2 after Max Payne 3 is released in March 2012.
In an interview with Gamasutra, Houser, Rockstar's creative director, said they would like to have started Bully's sequel at some time, but that did not happend due to enough space on the agenda. She added, stating that: "Unlike most people, we like to pass a little time before making a sequel, so we can expect to spend the initial excitement and so we can actually see what needs to be improved in the game." Houser added that, therefore, decided to work on Max Payne 3 just after the release of Bully, but now, with the proximity of the end of the work is already being considered the beginning of the development of Bully 2.

I loved Bully, so I'm really excited to here this. How ever, if development is just beginning, I'm not getting my hopes up because I might not have my hands on it for another 5 years.
