Nintendo Reveals new Amiibo Compatibility

Nintendo plans to bring Amiibo Compatibility to other games by 2015

If you already don't know Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U launches on November 21 alongside with the Amibo figurines. While this exclusive figures have only be shown in action with Super Smash Bros. Nintendo revealed that these figures can also be used on other games such as Mario Kart 8. Scanning certain Amiibo figures will unlock costumes based on that character and allow your Mii to wear these outfits. 

Other Amiibo compactable games include Mario Party 8, Kirby and the Rainbow Curse, Captain Toad Treasure Tracker, The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Warriors and Yoshi's Wolly World. Currently information about Amiibo compatibility The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Warriors, Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash Bros.are known.

By scanning a Link Amiibo while playing The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Warriors will unlock a new weapon called the Spinner. Scanning other figures will randomly unlock a new materia, weapon or rupees. In Mario Kart 8 scanning Amiibo figures will reveal new outfits based on those figures for your Mii to wear and Super Smash Bros. allows you to train your Amiibo to fight alongside you or face other players within the game.

Currently no information on what Amiibo's will bring to Mario Party 8, Kirby and the Rainbow Curse, Captain Toad Treasure Tracker and Yoshi's Woolly World. You can start collecting this alluring figures on November 21 when they launch with Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U.
