343 Industries has revealed new information about the Halo 5: Guardians Beta. The beta will begin on December 29, 2014 and features seven maps.
Developer 343 Industries stated that the focus of the beta will be 4 versus 4 arena gameplay. The battlegrounds will be small, give players identical loadouts for both teams, and give players seven armor sets to customize. Those who participant in the beta using the Halo: The Master Chief Collection will gain access to an unspecified bonus when Halo 5: Guardians releases next year.
343 also revealed a new Halo Channel that will show behind-the-scenes videos and gameplay previews. Halo: The Master Chief Collection will launch November 7, 2014 for Xbox One only and include Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary Edition, Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3, Halo 4, Halo: Nightfall (Digital Series), and access to the Halo 5: Guardians Multiplayer Beta which will start on December 29, 2014.
