Today, THQ Nordic and the game's developer, Owned by Gravity have presented the gamescom trailer for the next action role-playing game, SpellForce: Conquest of Eo. SpellForce: Conquest of Eo is the ideal combination of turn-based strategy, light 4x components, rapid-fire turn-based tactical battles, and role-playing. Players put on the robes of a powerful magician and go on a journey for dominion. What sort of magician, however, would abandon his tower? As you go around the globe of SpellForce in quest of long-lost knowledge and potent relics, your sorcerous spire serves as your mobile base of operations.
Players will start in this dynamic strategic role-playing game in your old master's modest wizard tower, but they will soon be venturing out over Eo in search of greater magical might. Challenge other factions, dispatch their army and heroes around the nation and learn and master spells to become the greatest wizard in history. They need to find leaders for their armies among the heroic individuals you recruit to complete their unique missions. Each procedurally generated campaign is a fresh adventure waiting to be explored. As you add floors to your tower, the route your wizard takes will become clear.
The primary antagonists are all picked at random and operate according to their own goals and plans. Players will have to defeat enemies with the use of their magic, artifacts, and even zombie henchmen. The renown system establishes the player's standing with various groups, cities, and other competing wizards.
The PC version of SpellForce: Conquest of Eo will soon be released. Great solitary quests are in store for players of this game. There's a lot of room for replayability with the game's procedurally created campaigns, variety of mage classes, and random opponent selection.
