Although this may resolve one issue that blights console gaming in the modern age, designers and developers will need to find a way of reducing costs to compete with classic platforms. The majority of gamers are not in a position to spend hundreds of dollars on titles or consoles at present and are therefore being forced to compromise by embracing classic and indie games.
