Half a kilometer away, Company A heard the gunshots of Picoy, then decided to reinforce their allies. Little did they know that their allies have either been killed or captured. They quickly hurried towards the direction of the gunshots but were surprised when they heard gunshots and three of them instantly fell down, two dead and one fatally wounded. One of the two was shot right between the eyes and another one was shot five centimeters upward from his left eye. The one fatally wounded was shot at his right shoulder and at his throat. He was losing consciousness. As an act of mercy, his last standing teammate, the sniper, said to him “Go with God”, closed his eyes, aimed his sniper rifle at the head of his dying ally and squeezed the trigger. Latoy saw this act and quietly approached the scout sniper from the rear and held the sniper at gunpoint and said to him “Let us test your skills at close range combat, the winner gets to take the loser as prisoner” and the sniper agreed. They walked 15 meter from each other and dropped all their firearms. They took out their combat knifes.

They both stared into each other’s cold merciless eyes, seeing into the very soul of the other. The burden of war could be seen in their eyes. Latoy was in his combat stance and the sniper in his. The sniper came to him running; slashing with his right hand, then followed the slashing with cutting and after cutting a stab. Latoy saw this and thought to himself “Ahh… basic combat knife techniques….” He then gave the sniper an uppercut just after the sniper attempted to stab him, and then followed the uppercut with a roundhouse kick to the head. The sniper stumbled after the kick to his cranium. He struggled to stand from that mighty blow to the head. But at last, with great difficulty he was able to rise. He then went berserk with his knife, and followed no combat technique. He managed to cut the right arm of Latoy, and was able to stab him at his left thigh but Latoy was able to endure the pain and was able to continue fighting. Latoy then jumped back, away from his adversary. He then grabbed hold of the knife that was in his mouth the entire time. And that evened the playing field, they both ran towards each other with all their strength left. As they were 3 meters from each other, Latoy threw his knife towards the sniper. The sniper was surprised at the attack but was able to catch the knife before it landed a direct hit to his face. He then lowered it for it was obstructing his view and as he lowered it he saw a fist coming towards his face. Latoy, after throwing the knife, ran with all his remaining strength and punched the sniper to his face. The punch left the sniper unconscious and some bones of Latoy’s hands were broken. Latoy waited patiently for an hour for the sniper awakening. And after the sniper woke up, he saw Latoy with bandaged hands and had his wounds bandaged. He then stood and said “As a man of my word. A deal’s a deal. Now I am your prisoner.” Then they started of together towards the rendezvous point.

They were all heading to grassland in the plains. The time is 2200 hours; Boloy and Baduy were the first to meet up. They met in a marshland area, were they heard voices and growling. They told each other to hush and listened. For a moment there was silence then the silence was broken by gunfire. Baduy screamed in pain “Bloody strays!” for a stray bullet hit him in his left ankle and gave him difficulty in walking. Then the two heard someone shout “Grenade!” and few seconds later explosions were sprouting from every direction. They saw the source of the rain of bullets. They could see muzzles flashing and decided to come take a look at the cause of all the gunfire. They crept up a tree and with their individual binoculars saw that there were soldiers firing at point blank range into the marsh. They saw shadows of different shapes and sizes slicing through the bodies of soldiers. It was utter chaos; they could only look with fear but at the same time were puzzled. They waited and watched helplessly and after 15 minutes of watching, the carnage was over. They were both silent for any sound could alert the mysterious shadows of their presence. They mad not a single sound but little did they know that these shadows were creatures whose sense have been greatly strengthened, they had the sense of smell ten times stringer than that of a dog, could ran three times faster than a gazelle, could see three times farther than a hawk, their strength was twice that of an elephant’s and had skin ten times stronger than steel. Then they noticed that the beasts were charging rather ferociously at their position and in instinct opened fire. Boloy emptied a clip of his scorpion onto a shadowy figure about 4 feet tall and managed to hit what seemed to be the beat’s head 16 times. The shadow fell into the water of the marsh as the bullets hit his body and seeing this Boloy thought “Hmmph…pathetic” but seeing the creature rise up from the waters exclaimed sarcastically “I think we have a problem”. Baduy on the other hand used not his primary weapon but his secondary weapon. He fire four shots into the malformed heads of the beasts and each one fell back but rose up again as if they had just tumbled.  They were still charging at them and both simultaneously shouted “Let’s get the hell outta here!” Boloy then said innocently “but where to run?” and Baduy said “anywhere! Just run!” in reply. And both sped off ignoring the pain into the depths of the marshland in the midst of the darkness of the night. The time was 2230 hours.
