As we prepare to take another trip in the Halo Universe this Winter with the release of Combat Evolved Anniversary, 343 Industries has today rolled out some additional pre-order bonuses for the Xbox 360 exclusive.
Available as a pre-order exclusive from UK retailers GAME and Gamestation, comes a Halo art book entitled ‘Halo, The Great Journey: The Art of Building Worlds’. The 24 page booklet features not only art from the remake of Combat Evolved to which it accompanies, but also art from the entire history of Halo games.
In total, the hardback book collects over 400 images from thirty different artists. The book also features concept art showing off some of the unique landscapes and iconic scenery from various points along the Halo timeline, as well as chronicling the evolution of the Master Chiefs signature MJOLNIR armour. The book itself will retail separately from the game on October 18th, should the one month additional wait be too much for you.
As for being a pre-order exclusive with GAME and Gamestation in the UK, everyone who pre-orders Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary will still be entitled to digital content in the form of a Master Chief armour avatar get up, and also a game modifying skull entitled ‘Grunt Funeral’ which will see Halo’s resident cannon fodder explode upon death.
Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary is released worldwide on November 15th courtesy of Saber Interactive and 343 Industries, and is an Xbox 360 exclusive.

400 artworks sound mouthwatering. I know this bonus items only come with pre-order but if the industries make this items a regular marchant item, they can do more business. Think of the number of Halo fans. The numbers are way more than the votes Obama got to be elected. And even non Xbox gamer like myself will buy such collectables.
I cant wait just for the plain reason its been around 10 years since i last played halo combat evolved i would like to just be refreshed with the history but i don't think i really need to pay extra for art work but i might end up doing it anyway.
why am i more excited about this than i am halo 4?
