Superhero Cole MacGrath returns in the world of Sucker Punch’s 2009 hit action adventure game, InFamous. This sequel, InFamous 2, will be released exclusively on the Playstation 3 on June 7, 2011 this summer.

In addition to the release date, Sony also announced the Collector’s Edition for the game called the Hero Edition, which will reportedly retail for the low, low price of $99.99! The Hero’s Edition will come with an inFamous mini-comic (courtesy of DC Comics), a “supervoucher” code for downloading exclusive powers and skins, the InFamous 2 Original Soundtrack, a sling pack/messenger bag much like the one Cole MacGrath uses, as well as an 8.5-inch figurine of him. Here’s an image of the Hero Edition, provided below. I must say, it is looking mighty attractive:

In InFamous 2, Cole MacGrath leaves Empire City behind and travels to a New Orleans-based city called New Marsais. Upon arriving to this new setting, Cole must confront an evil force known only as, “The Beast.” Much like the first game, InFamous 2 will have players decide Cole’s actions to either save mankind or to destroy it. Cole’s powers will be unique to the path players choose for him.

The question is, which side will you choose?
